Public discussion 'Education Let's talk about the future'

The Financial Supervisory Authority, Romanian-American University, the Institute of World Economics of the Romanian Academy and the Institute of Financial Studies organizes on November 1 2016 public discussion "Education: Let's talk about the future!" which will address the need to adopt a long-term vision with regard to financial education and training.

Wishing to take part in the activities organized under the aegis of the National Debate on Education and Research – Romania educated, a project initiated by the Romanian Presidency, the event proposes to sit at the same table, in the form of a think tank, all parties with an interest in improving the level of financial literacy in Romania.

The event takes place on November 1, 2016 at the headquarters of the Romanian-American University (1, Expozitiei Blvd., sector 1, Bucharest, Romania), starting at 9:00.

The agenda of this dialogue open to all parties involved aims to provide an overview of:

• the current situation of the educational system, from the perspective of all parties involved,
• financial education needs, arising from the need to meet in order to improve the level of welfare of the future,
• the possibilities of increasing the level of future financial inclusion,
• concrete modalities for the implementation of modern systems of education.
