European Conference on Financial Services (ECFS 2017)

The European Conference on Financial Services (ECFS 2017) is an initiative of the Institute of Financial Studies, „Petru Maior” University and the Romanian Research Society for Private and Public Affairs and is to be held in Brașov between 19^th and 20^th of October. The conference is organized with the support of „Transilvania” University of Brașov, „Babeș - Bolyai” University of Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romanian Academy' Center of European Law Studies (CELS), Romanian Association for Law and European Affairs (RALEA) and the Center for Arbitration and Mediation in Insurance. 

The velocity of legislative modifications on both European and national levels, mainly generated by the reconfiguration of the financial markets in the last decade, creates a natural framework for a series of debates between the professionals of the financial domain, having the purpose to combine and adjust theory with practice, and economics with legal matters. Thus, ECFS Conference represents a great opportunity for scientific debates upon matters of high actuality, being structured in 8 panels over the course of two days.
