ASSESSMENT CENTER SAL-Fin
As of 07.19.2016, the Institute for Financial Studies (I.S.F.) Centre for assessment and certification conciliators in non-banking financial sector (EC SAL-Fin).
Through the newly created Center provides evaluation and certification of skills for people who want to operate conciliation under-FIN ADR entity, according to ASF Regulation No.4 / 2016 on the organization and functioning of Alternative Dispute Resolution Entity in the financial non-banking (SAL-FIN) and who have not completed courses in mediation / conciliation / arbitration / ADR / settlement of disputes through judicial procedure.
At Assessment Center SAL-Fin can enroll only those people who can prove at least 4 years of professional experience in the areas covered by A.S.F. or have engaged in specific A.S.F.
Center offers the opportunity SAL-Fin industry professionals interested in becoming non-banking financial services conciliators in-FIN ADR entity, to certify that occupation specific skills acquired in other ways than formal.
Occupation of conciliator in the financial and non-banking system was regulated by Council Regulation No ASF. 4/2016, following the creation of ADR entity under FIN-FSA, following the implementation of the listed guidelines, published in the Official Gazette, Part I no. 383 of May 19, 2016.

Skills assessment evaluation at the Center SAL-Fin has the following characteristics:
a) is voluntary;
b) relating to the occupational profile of the conciliator in the financial non-banking;
c) leads to a result "Pass" or "Pending completion of powers";
The process of evaluation and certification of competence in the assessment center SAL-Fin is individually and the assessment tools used are drawn from actual cases encountered in the labor market, giving the candidate a practical approach. The evaluation process leading to establishment of an existing level of skills held as well as advice on training needs in the medium and long term.

In this regard, the candidate assisted by two assessors skills assessment center designated SAL-Fin, follow these steps:
- Self professional performance in relation to occupational profile (click here to download the occupational profile) for occupation by non-banking financial conciliator in the field;
- Supporting the theory test, which aims to validate theoretical knowledge. Valuation method used: written test; Assessment instruments: closed questions with multiple choice questions, with one or more correct answers;
- Supporting the practical test, which aims to validate attitudes and skills necessary deruării business of non-banking financial conciliator in the field. Evaluation methods used: portfolio, case study; assessment tools: portfolios (with clear requirements and grilles interpretation), case studies and / or simulation (with benchmarks for evaluation).

After application of assessment tools, the next step is analyzing the results, the purpose of verifying score and comparing it with the minimum score required in order to establish the status of candidate: "Pass" or "Pending completion of powers".
Through the evaluation process, the applicant submits proof that an appropriate level of knowledge and skills needed in the field of alternative dispute resolution, as well as a good understanding of general and specific financial sector legislation that settled, including legislation on consumer protection .
